Competition in the Android smartphone market is set to heat up even more from September onwards. With the introduction of flagship processors and the increased variety of phones, Android users will experience more choices. Now, the design drafts for the first phones powered by the Dimensity 9400—namely, the vivo X200 series and OPPO Find X8—have emerged. Here’s a look at the vivo X200 design…
vivo X200 and OPPO Find X8 Come with Similar Designs
Last year, the vivo X100 and X100 Pro were among the first devices featuring the Dimensity 9300 processor. This year, the manufacturer plans to do the same with the vivo X200 series, set to launch in China this October, which will also feature the Dimensity 9400 processor. Similarly, OPPO is expected to follow suit with its X8 series, which will be announced shortly after the X200 and will also be powered by the Dimensity 9400.
The design drafts that have surfaced today reveal that both devices share a similar design. According to shared images by Digital Chat Station, the vivo X200 series features a quadruple camera system with a round design, prominently displaying the ZEISS logo in the center and a vertical, slim flash in the upper right corner.
The OPPO Find X8, which also sports a flat screen, mirrors the camera design of the X200 but features the Hasselblad logo instead. Additionally, there is a round flash design on the upper left side of the camera. The device includes power and volume buttons on the right side, with a notification button on the left.
In terms of specifications, both phones are expected to feature screens of around 6.4 or 6.5 inches. The X200 is rumored to come with a 5,800mAh battery, while the X8 will have a 5,600mAh battery. Both flagship phones will likely run on Android 15-based operating systems.
